I tapped Restore Purchases in the MovieSlate Store settings and the spinning indicator has been going for more than 5 minutes with no result. Nothing is happening. What's wrong?

When Restore Purchases spins indefinitely, it usually means MovieSlate cannot reach Apple's receipt verification servers. Here's how to resolve it:

  1. Check your internet connection. Open Safari and load any webpage to confirm your iPad is online. If you're on Wi-Fi, try moving closer to your router or switching to cellular data.
  2. Check Apple's System Status page to see if the App Store is experiencing an outage.
  3. Restart your iPad fully (hold power button > slide to power off, then power back on).
  4. Open MovieSlate, go to Settings > MovieSlate Store, and tap Restore Purchases again.

If the spinner keeps running after a restart, wait 15–20 minutes and try once more — Apple's servers occasionally have brief delays.
If Restore Purchases completes but your Pro Features or Script Dept subscription are still not active, please contact us at MovieSlate@pureblendsoftware.com with your Apple ID (the one used to purchase MovieSlate) so we can look into the receipt on our end.
