My script coverage lines (tramlines) suddenly became locked — I didn't lock them myself — and now I can't select, move, or edit them. How do I unlock them so I can manipulate them again?Coverage lines can't be selected when the layer they live on is locked. In Script Dept, annotations are grouped into layers, and a locked layer protects its marks from being accidentally tapped or moved. To edit your coverage lines again, unlock their layer:
Once the layer is unlocked, you can select, move, and manipulate the lines normally. Note that the SnapLine layer is intentionally kept locked; in the latest build every other layer can be unlocked. If you're not seeing the unlock option, make sure you're running the latest version of MovieSlate. |
