The production I'm on uses an Ambient Master Lockit with a Wi-Fi dongle for camera and audio sync. Can I connect MovieSlate to the Lockit over Wi-Fi?

No — MovieSlate doesn't support Ambient's Lockit Wi-Fi sync solution. To stay in sync on a Lockit-based production, sync MovieSlate instead via LTC over a cable (a wired jam-sync or continuous sync). For reference, the wireless timecode devices MovieSlate does support over Wi-Fi are: other MovieSlates, the BETSO WTCS-1 smart slate, and Timecode Systems :wave and :pulse.
