I bought MovieSlate around 2013 and used it on my iPad, but it doesn't appear in my App Store purchases on my new iPhone — I may have used a different Apple ID back then. Can you look up my old purchase or transfer it to MovieSlate 8?
The app you bought back then was MovieSlate 7, which is a separate product from the current app. MovieSlate 7 ran on iOS 7 through iOS 10, and its support ended in 2015. Apple will not show it in the App Store's purchase list on any device running iOS 11 or later, which is why it doesn't appear on your new iPhone. To use the app on a current iPhone you'll need MovieSlate 8, which is a fresh purchase from the App Store. On verifying the old purchase: unfortunately PureBlend has no way to look you up. Apple does not share customer identity or any personal information with app developers — we only see anonymized, aggregate sales data broken down by App Store region and currency. App purchases are tied to the Apple ID that made them, so the original purchase would only restore on that same Apple ID (and only for the version of the app it applied to). If you're buying for a nonprofit or school, note that Apple offers educational and non-profit discounts through Apple Business Manager; purchasing through your organization's Business Manager account is the way to get that pricing. |
