Will MovieSlate run on iOS 7?

Yes! MovieSlate 7 is a free upgrade that runs on iOS 6 and 7, matching the look of each OS. MovieSlate 7 was released on October 15. You can download the new version from the App Store app.


What if my iOS device cannot run iOS 6 or 7?

If you're running MovieSlate on an iPad 1 or other device that cannot run iOS 6 or 7, then do not upgrade to MovieSlate 7 because it will not run on iOS 5 or older. Apple recently enabled a new iOS App Store feature to let you download the "last compatible version" of an app-- which is MovieSlate 4.07.


Are there any upgrade issues for Timecode Buddy users?

If you rely upon Timecode Buddy, and are using an iPad 3, then do not upgrade to iOS 7 just yet. The iOS7 system upgrade has interfered with WiFi connectivity on the iPad 3 (Retina Display, 30 pin dock model). This unfortunately means the iPad3 cannot successfully join the Ad Hoc network created by the Timecode Buddy WiFi Master. Apple is aware of the issue, and we hope they can fix the connection bug in a future iOS7 update.
