When I generate Facing Pages, the shooting days don't appear in order — I want Day 1's material first, then Day 4's after it. How do I get them to progress in day order?

The order in which Facing Pages are laid out is controlled by a single setting. To have your pages progress by shooting day:

  1. Tap Settings > Script Dept: Facing Pages.
  2. Find the Sort Order setting.
  3. Set it to Day + Scene.

With Day + Scene selected, MovieSlate groups the material by shooting day first (Day 1, then Day 4, and so on) and then by scene within each day — which gives you the day-by-day progression you're looking for.
Note that the sort order is applied when the pages are generated, so after changing the setting you'll need to generate new Facing Pages for the change to take effect.
