When I try to open a document in a Pane, I see a "Document not set" error, or it won't open in a Pane at all — only in a Tab. Why, and how do I work around it?

This is a known bug in the third-party PDF library MovieSlate uses, and it currently affects everyone on the latest version — it's not something wrong with your setup or your data. It only affects opening a PDF in a Pane; PDFs opened in a Tab are not affected. It has been reported to the library's developers and we're waiting on a fix to fold into a future update.
Recommended workaround:

• Use Open PDF in Tab instead of Pane. This is the reliable option and works normally.

1. Restart the app.
2. Do not select another Script PDF from the setup screen.
3. Tap Log+Mark, then the + button, then Open PDF in Pane, and choose your PDF.
