My iPad is stuck on an old iOS version that MovieSlate no longer supports. I deleted the app thinking I could reinstall it, but now I can't download it from the App Store. Can PureBlend make an older compatible version available?

Unfortunately, PureBlend cannot make older versions of MovieSlate available for download on the App Store. This is an Apple platform limitation — once an app is deleted from your device, it can only be re-downloaded from the App Store, which only offers the current version.
Even if you restore your iPad from a backup, Apple stores the app's data in the backup but requires the actual app to be downloaded fresh from the App Store. There is no mechanism to retrieve a historical version of an app through Apple's standard channels.
What this means in practice:

• If MovieSlate is still installed on a device, it will continue to run even after we drop support for that iOS version — we just can't ship new updates to it.
• If you delete MovieSlate from an unsupported device, you will not be able to reinstall it.
