Why aren't my report emails being sent from my Gmail account?
This is almost certainly caused by the report email having a ZIP compressed attachment-- which Google / Gmail specifically disallows. (source: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6590?hl=en)
Your options have trade-offs:
• Use a different email account from a provider that does not block compressed email attachments.
• Turn off report compression in Settings > History Reports > Zip Compress Files. Your individual reports will be larger and possibly take longer to send. Please note that if you take Audio or Image notes those items will always be ZIP compressed in to a single file.
• Use one of the iOS Share sheet options. Depending on the apps you have installed you can Share reports to your Dropbox, OneDrive, Mega, iOS Files, etc and avoid email entirely. |
