Frequently Asked Question Posted 10/27/2026

I started logging takes under the wrong DAY (it defaulted to Day 01 instead of Day 10). How do I fix the day number without losing anything, and how do I correct the progress report totals?

You can fix this without losing any takes.
1. Fix the day for future takes
Go to the Script Dept setup screen and change the DAY field so new takes are assigned to the correct day.
2. Fix takes already logged under the wrong day

  1. Tap the History tab and tap one of the shots whose DAY you want to change.
  2. At the top of the History Shots list, next to the Filter Shots field, tap the Search & Replace button (magnifying glass icon).
  3. Tap the Script tab, then tap DAY.
  4. In the Search field enter the wrong value (1 or 01, matching what the DAY field shows). In the Replace field enter the correct day, for example 10.
  5. Tap the Newer Than button and enter today's shooting date, so only today's mis-labeled takes change and the real Day 1 takes are left alone.
  6. Tap Go.

3. Progress report totals
Once the day is corrected, your totals for that day should be right. If they still aren't, for example because you are subbing for someone and lack their earlier logging data, use the correction fields on the Script Dept setup screen. You can enter positive or negative values to adjust setups, runtime and scene counts so your progress report matches the production office's numbers.
