MovieSlate asks me to back up my work to MovieSlate Cloud every day. Is there a way to dismiss this reminder or turn it off?

MovieSlate shows the backup reminder whenever you have not backed up to MovieSlate Cloud within the last 24 hours. You have two options:

  • Dismiss for today — tap the Live Dangerously button on the reminder screen to skip the backup and go directly to your project. The reminder will reappear the next time you open the app.
  • Suppress the reminder — make a backup to MovieSlate Cloud. Tap Settings > MovieSlate Cloud > Backup. After a successful backup the reminder will not appear again for 24 hours.

Note: MovieSlate Cloud is a free service — no payment is required to use it for backups. It is also the only convenient way to back up and restore your logging data; the alternative is a full iCloud device restore. Regular backups are strongly recommended, especially during active productions.
A future MovieSlate update will add a setting to permanently suppress the daily backup reminder.
