Frequently Asked Question Posted 06/02/2026

After updating to a new iOS version, my UltraSync Blue no longer appears in MovieSlate's sync options — only 'Connect to a song' shows up. My subscription is current. What happened?

Major iOS updates can reset MovieSlate's in-app purchase verification, which removes access to Pro Features including Bluetooth timecode sync. Follow these steps to restore your sync options:

  1. Restore Purchases — tap Settings > MovieSlate Store. In the Restore Purchases section tap the blue Restore button. The App Store will re-verify your subscription with Apple's servers and reinstate your Pro Features.
  2. Enable B:LINK Networking — tap Settings > Timecode + Sync > Tentacles & TCS/Atomos Devices and confirm B:LINK Networking is turned on.
  3. Update MovieSlate — check the App Store for the latest version of MovieSlate and install any available update.
  4. Update iPadOS/iOS — if you are on the initial release of a major OS version (e.g., 26.0), update to the latest point release (e.g., 26.0.1 or later). First-release OS versions sometimes contain bugs affecting purchase verification.

If Restore Purchases spins without completing, check Apple's System Status page for App Store outages, restart your device, and try again.
